Life suckz...
Day in day out doing homework, studying for tests, preparing CCA stuff etc. It seems that nothing is interesting at all. Daily routine is just so BORING -_-
Ms Sim brought us to Chem Lab 2dae...At the beginning we all felt too lazy to climb down to level one, moreover we having two tests at one go during TOP period next! But i never expect this Chem lesson to be rather fun afterall...
We did the last experiment which we did not manage to complete the last Lab lesson. Observing how Zinc, Iron II and Copper II carbonate burning in the test-tubes and doing Carbon dioxide test using Limewater, we started off rather normally (",) It was quite scary when the set up "suck back" so me very grateful tt i listened to Ms Sim on the proper way of handling the set up then!
Funny things always happen in the Labs, this time round, there was a FIRE!!!
Well actually, it happened lyk that... Ms Sim kept on asking," What is burning? I kept smelling something burning! Girls, take note to your flame."
When almost everyone was done wif the experiment, she went up to the front and continue wif her lesson...Still, we smell something burning away...Then we realised that the rubbish bin in the front was 'producing' smoke... It was on fire!?!
Or rather there was a piece of tissue paper catching fire in the bin! Panicked, all my classmates rushed to the bin to take a look at the situation while, Ms Sim took a pail of water to stop the tissue from further burning then! The scene was funny and cute...
Seeing her pouring tap water inside the bin, the whole class started laughing... "So, that was the thing that was burning!" she exclaimed."Who threw that into thebin???" she said. "Please be careful..."
Even b4 she completed talking, my whole class was laughing lyk mad...The whole lab was filled with laughter, grins and smiles! We just can't imagine a small little tissue burning slightly in the bin of hers...Ms Sim appears to be rather cute sometimes...
She is just lyk the mother of ours...NO, i am not saying that she is old or anything. In fact, she's pretty young in her 30s but she got the SUPER caring look which makes you feel safe and comfortable wif her. Just lyk what my best fren said, she is the type of good teacher where if you reallie pay attention in her class, you will learn lots!
Being the Subject head of the school, she sure is a good Chem teacher where the rest shld look up to. So perhaps, it is a fortunte that i didn't get HIM and gotten Ms Sim instead... STOP...Why am i talking abt HIM again??? I shld 4get abt HIM completely?!? Can i reallie do that?!?
Whatever is it, i still must comment that Ms Sim is truely a good Chemistry teacher and i shld be thankful that i gotten her =)
