CNY Rush +)

2dae is my 开工日 and for the past few days, i have been rather busy despite not having to report in Office (Oh, FYI, i took leave for ytd cos my company is US based so count ourselves lucky when they follow Singapore calendar and give us 2 days off alr :p)

On average, i have 2 houses to visit everydae for 初一,初二 and the upcoming weekend...

The 'Nu' Year rush started off with an enjoyable Cruise-to-nowhere-trip 2 days before 大年初一 and my whole family plus my Grandma rushing back for Reunion Dinner on the eve of CNY.


After which was the countdown to the year of the Ox and a series of House visiting awaits:


Dae 1

1st visit goes to Grandma's House-- Vegetarian Food

Back to My House-- My paternal Uncles wanted to see-see my house

Dinner at Yi Yi's House where all my Maternal side Cousins gether =)


Dae 2

Kam Po's House for Lunch~ Every year's tradition on the 2nd dae

and straight to Boon Leng Gou Gou's House in Woodlands for party.


Dae 3

Although school has started for the kids, Mummy is still free so we held a Dinner Festa

in my very own house, just like House warming, and invited everyone over--Including relatives like Ah Lim Uncle etc.

In fact, it was basically House hopping from 1 house to another;

celebrating, eating, drinking and gambling!!!

Well, i'm not very addicted to Gambling but still follow the crowd and play $2 bets...

Nevertheless, my youngest sister and even my cousins love the Poker game every Lunar New Year :D

This coming Saturdae will be my visit to Mr Ong's house and buffet @ Ah Teck's house +)

There goes the CNY rush from house-to-house again but

Meanwhile, let's wish all a blessed 2009 and abundance always.

For instance, what's Chinese New Year without yummy goodies lyk Pineapple Tarts???







To hype up the CNY mood, me and my sisters (tgt with my Aunt) has decided to bake

some Handmade goodies to be placed in our house...

Not to forget my Speciality Chocolate Corn flakes and look i've made so many of them =)

Halo cute little ones :p






Lastly is to pack them up in Air-tight containers and

off i go be Ms. Santa Claus and share the CNY joy in my Office :)

Wonder if anyone of you have played "The Sims" before???

This EAgame is actually pretty fun as you can create your own SIMs characters right from the start and play them the way you want it in the neighbourhood :D They can make frens, go on dates, get married or even give birth to the next generation!

Apart from customisation of people, you can also design the house according to your liking:

Purchase Computer to let your family members play games witn it (lyk what i'm doing now in real life) or chat online (-_-) If you are the arty-farty type, go ahead to add decorations and hang portaits on the walls while i build-in romantic lights for the wonderful night...

Perhaps, the most fun thing is to be able to 'control' the characters at my fingertips! The whole family are maintained by you and the player can simply allow the single and available female to flirt with whoever she wants or get engaged with more exciting activites :X

All these are virtual and in the form of 'cartoon' Sims so you can build any fantastic things lyk Big Swimming pool (or even a Love tub for the couple) and make the two of them enjoy the atmosphere right in the comfort of their home. Haha, is only this is true in real life (*_*)

For entertainment and relaxation, i think it's good game for individuals to escape for a while. There are many unexpected incidents that will 'surprise' you too! Oh, did i tell you my female charecter's husband was shocked to death while repairing the mini Combo Sound system?!? OMG, it's very lame i know and all she could do then was to "watch in despair"... Her spouse name is Gary Champson :p

Afterall, Life&Death is something that all of us can't avoid and Sims2 is being realistic over here +) So while you're still alive, enjoy and take on challenge--Gamble it all out on the new feature Poker Table with Sims2 Nightlife which my sister bought and i play for free :)

every night as Channel8 broadcasts "Little Nyonya"--Lead actress= Jeanette Au :)






It's an Awesome song and i seriously hope to listen to Ms Olivia Ong (home-grown-singer) perform "Ru Yan" LIVE lyk this...

Oh no, i'm SICk---Flu...



Lyk what i always put it: "It's a once-in-a-blue-moon-affair that i will fall sick!"

yet when i'm unwell, i will be seriously Sick.(Haha, i wun take MC though :p)



Perhaps i've gotten the Cold due to swimming in the morning over the weekend!?!

Or is it there's this Virus in Office and i've been attacked by it???



Can't be, as all our guys here are perfectly healthy and we even have

Muscular great swimmer lyk Mr. Elly :D



For now, i'm down with FLU and i hope i will get well in the shortest time possible!

Certainly before CNY will be ideal +)
