***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 30th Dec 2008 2:30:04 PM***

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to you."

Ops, i didn't have the chance to sing this birthday song to you...

(Is it becos there's too many pple ard or you just dun dare to sing out loud?!?)

A box of specially-made Chocolate corn flakes, 2 Chewy Juniors and a very nice present to be placed on your table is all that i can give to you +)

For next year, i think both of us shld focus more on our work as there are indeed lots of deadlines to meet and tight schedule!!!

Recap.

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 29th Dec 2008 3:13:49 PM***

It's almost the end of the year so i think it's a pretty good timing for me to recap what has taken placed between us.

I can never forget that nite when i went back to take back all my belongings from him :X

I bet he purposely change into the Tshirt that i gave him hoping that i will...

Guess i shld respect these wise words : 好马不吃回头草。

No matter how 'good' a bf he is or how much i miss having a guy next to me, i shld not revert back to the old ways :p Afterall, i'm born in the Year of Horse--I'm a horse of good breed! Fear not being single (More freedom!) and let's Move On.

Perhaps, i ought not to do whatever guys ask me to do in the new Year2009 so simply cos i always end up being the one getting hurted :( I shall not wait for him at whichever venue, i shall not attend to him when he's sick, i shall not miss my bus in order to help him, i shall not travel hours to reach him and i shall not even wear his Tshirt...

By not talking anything more to him after collecting back my stuffs (Well, i went to his room with another guy +), he SLAMMED the door behind us *period*

Leavin' or not?

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 26th Dec 2008 10:50:02 AM***

Office is rather quiet 2dae... Not becos pple are all busy with work and no time to talk

but due to the fact that most individuals are On Leave- celebrating Boxing Dae after Christmas?!? Or maybe even suffering Hang-over from last nite LOL:p

Aniwae, i wanna discuss in this blog entry abt guys Leavin' or not...

On Xmas eve, i have to accept the reality that the oni Ang Mo colleague in Office is gone :(

No doubt SHUAI guys are hard to make them stay :X

i was stunned when my Msian hairstylist asked me," Singaporean guys or Malaysian guys more cool?" then when i did Digital Perm in KL Petaling street +)

But after the astonishment of his surprise question, i have to agree with him that some Msian guys are indeed more COOL than SIN.

Take for example, the above random guy i snap in MRT when i was too bored taking the train all alone to Boon Lay then, isn't he SHUAI?!?

How do i noe he is a Msian?

Well, he speaks Cantonese so fluent over the phone that i bet Sporean guys (esp younger ones) can never do that :p i'm very certain that he is not local and when he speaks a few sentences of Mandarin, BINGO, he is a Malaysian Chinese (*_*) Da Ma Ren, they call it.

Perhaps, it's their nice hair or something, i find them very attractive :D i can tell that my cool hairstylist who has trendy Orange-dyed hair will make my hair until very nice even b4 he finished curling my whole head (^_^)

Guess it's all about appearance and no matter how Shuai the guy is, if he is not yours, he will not be with you for long; sooner or later he will Leave... Let's leave it to fate and see who is gonna be my Mr. Right =)

For now, enjoy this cool song by McCartney, " i'm Leavin', never to come back again..."

I simply love the intro beats of this song and perhaps my boy-friend (not bf) who is currently learning Hip Hop dance can choreograph some dance steps to go with it (-_-)

He's gg back to US and his flight out of SIN is lyk tml...

I really regret not taking a photo with him before he left Office :(

but hey, i still managed to pass him my Yes! namecard

and gotten his presonal email address :P

Nevertheless, i'm still sad to 'lose sight' of him in Office

and he is lyk GONE forever :X

Too bad for you girl.

HOUSE md

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 20th Dec 2008 12:00:00 AM***

Can wait for 19/1/2009's House Season 5 to continue like me??

Oh my, ever since JK introduce me to 1 episode of HOUSE that nite @ the chalet, i'm incredibly addicted (to him)

I dun usually fancy American dramas but i simply love the Scientific mysteries that unfolds in HOUSE. Comparing to shows like Gossip Girl, i feel watching House more meaningful and certainly not a waste of my time!

Running for 5 successful years, HOUSE season 5 promises to be more exciting and it did impressed me for how the Team managed to pull thru' so many challenging cases and not forgetting the soapy romance b/w House and Cuddy-- Huddy :X

Both Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein are very good actors and i can really feel the connection b/w them. Even if it wasn't a kissing scene or whatever, i can sense their feelings for each other. Throughout the many episodes, the built up of their Love was great while some critics find it too draggy :p

Nevertheless, they look Perfect for a couple in the show and i seriously hope that they will be tgt in the end. Huddy forever (^_^) Btw, can you believe that Hugh Laurie (House) who speaks so well is not an American??? Yup, he is a British from England and yet he mastered the American acent so naturally+) How awesome!!!

WOW,. Cheers to him winning the Golden Globe award for acting as House in House (*_*) Well, he was the dude that stayed in Hotel for more than a year; thinking that this whole serial of House is not gg to work... but Hey, it's alr Season 5! This proves that many people still love House and of course love Hugh like myself :p

Ehh, i think Hugh Laurie is simply Cute and a very Cool doctor (in House) Well, his father happens to be a real Doc. i love HOUSE because he is extremely humorous and the show is very captivating and interesting :) Watch one episode and you will know--It's lyk miracle...

Laurie wrote down 172 names of people to thank when he won a Golden Globe for being the BEST ACTOR (omg!) in television series drama--House1. The British gent randomly chose three names from his "trouser" pocket. Script supervisor Ira Horowitz, a hairstylist by the name of Diana and his agent Christian were the three lucky names called out for supporting him in his role in House. Laurie then went on to thank the concept creator, writer, his wife and three kids.

Wait a minute, did you just sae "wife and three kids"??? You mean this Ang Mo is alr married? Arh, my hopes are dashed when i noe <the fact> that this guy or that guy is married and worse when they alr are fathers :D Recently, i have been receiving a lot of shocking news abt guys who seriously DO NOT look very old to me are alr married and/or have children liao... Oh my, i shld be born 10 years earlier, or maybe even 15 (-_-) LOL

Too bad, just accept it that Love can't be forced and let's leave it all to our fate~

For now, let's celebrate Christmas and wait for more HOUSE epi to be out... Have fun!!!

Oh, all i want for Christmas is YOU!!! ~Mariah Carey

Best dressed =)

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 18th Dec 2008 3:38:03 PM***

Still feeling bad about not being part of Pageant or winning the Prom Queen title???

Here's your chance...i am choosen to be the BEST DRESSED lady in my office's Xmas party 2dae (^_^)

Out of three female finalists, i received the most cheers and claps and i won!!!

Haha, i'm still in the shock that (despite having so many staffs-100+ and some ladies from the East wing prettier than me:p) i became the Champion Queen for the event=) I am also glad that the GREEN team won every game that was played; namely, human BINGO, Forming words and Dressing the Christmas tree. Well done +)

Thanks to all the enthu participants in my team, we emerged as the Overall winner and gotta another addidtional present :D Special thanks to Irwan being our Human Christmas tree where we simply wrap papers and stick paper balls onto his body and save lots of time and trouble :X

Oh, we are simply a FAST and efficient team, in order to win a total score of 3/3

Afterall, i enjoyed the 3hr Party but i guess Perm staffs wanted DnD more (-_-) Heard that last year there were more prizes and better food LOL. Oh, they just love Free Food...

Zai Lai Minced Meat Noodle

***Import from Gnet.moblog dated 16th Dec 2008 1:28:33 PM***

As mentioned in my last Blog entry about Unplugged@DXO, we invited Mr Mansen Loh of Zai Lai Bah Chor Mee/ TalentHunt. He is the guy that took over his father's business and the famous dish became so popular that he managed to open 20+ stalls all over Singapore!!!

Personally, i tried this yummy dish @ AMK central (next to old Jubeeli complex) S11's Zai Lai stall and indeed, the Bah Chor Mee is nice (^_^) Having much more ingredients and plenty of braised mushrooms (usually normal stall will oni give you 1 or 2 piece--Pathetic :p), i seriously don't mind paying $3.50 for it...

So, calling out to all Noodles lovers, to try out Zai Lai Minced Meat Mee @ any of the 20+ stalls in S11 around Singapore =)

Unplugged@DXO

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 15th Dec 2008 9:17:48 PM***

The event was such a success=)

Instead of worrying about not having enuf participants, we got to worry about not having enuf chairs for all to sit!!! The turn-out rate was good and the battle was considered half-won when we see so many pple coming for our forum :D Glad that our Hard work is paid off.

The content of the forum is interesting and even Shenzi Chua (New Urban Male CEO) praised our team for the choice of venue (DXOclub is a pretty cool place!) to hold such a meaningful forum engaging youths of age 17-21.

Other than the famous NUM guy, Shenzi, we also invited Mansen Loh (Zai Lai Bah Chor Mee +Talent Hunt) and Melvin Tan (E1 Asia Holdings) as our Guest speakers for the day +)

I have the rare opportunity to sit on stage with the 3 guys and host the Q&A session which last for an hour for them (^_^) There were lots of insightful sharings and i do learn a lot from these successful local entrepreneurs :)

I love the networking & dinner too as it brings the whole forum to a complete closure... However, having pple bring their the other half to the event, they were busy attending to their bf or gf and since we have to leave DXO by 8pm, the AAR/debrief/celebration is postponed to further notice :p

Val's proposal is to have a retreat and AAR for our team @ E!hub--we shall book the whole nEbO hall and really cele for making the event a big success. Yu Jia will then confirm a date with David and guess this must be b4 JK flies off to SGN before Xmas... i seriously look forward to this (*_*)

i left the club quite late after packing and saying Bye-bye and ended up walking to the MRT alone :X and guess who i saw??? David and a girl (bet is his gf) at Citylink Mall. haha. Aniwae, i finally managed to take photo with DT but the image is quite shadowy due to it taken in the club; so, i shall not upload it for viewing (",) LOL

No matter what, i will miss the YES!team dearly and for the two guys who just got enlisted: Take Care Man.

Till we meet again for Retreat...YES!!!

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 12th Dec 2008 4:22:20 PM***

2dae, Bill received a DHL box which is as heavy as me;
containing 8000 pages of Paper plot :p Hahaha.

Express DHL oni takes lyk 1 dae for the things to deliver

from USA to SIN, cool :)

Ytd was our 6D gathering...

They meet at noon but i join them for Dinner @ Ngee Ann City Seoul Garden +)

Many 'rare pple' who dun usually come for gathering when i invited them came last nite

It's really nice that almost half the class (20 pple) turn up for this gathering,

even when we have graduated from Primary school for 6 years alr!!!

After so many years, some of their faces changed but

nevertheless, i can still figure out almost all of them :D

It is just that some of the chinese names i rmb wrongly

but my beloved class of 6D'2002 will always be the group of frens whom i will never forget (^_^)

Lyk what Mr Lee says, "It was a gathering that is really priceless. A gathering that creates memories in the future."

With that wonderful group photo taken, till we meet again buddies :X

Hectic Week!!!

***Imported from Gnet.moblog dated 7th Dec 2008 11:34:39 PM***

Flashing back my busy itinerary for the week:

1 Dec

KFC Dinner with Mr Lee and my Primary school classmates after helping out to pack his stuffs (Oh, you will be surprised how many things he has 'collected' over the years!) out of HOD room since there will be renovation works being carried out to that room in Block S this holidae...

3 Dec

College's Prom nite which starts at 7plus and i have to rush to get everything (Bathe, Dress, Make-up, Hair, nails...) all done in 1 hour b4 cabbing down to Mariott Hotel for the event +)

I admit that i do not have a Fantastic Hair-do nor very gorgeous Make-up; but considering the fact that i did all that from head to toe myself (including nail art Pedicure =), i think i should deserve some credit :D

Plus...i believe, despite not having fanciful accessories, i looked quite presentable for the nite too!!!

Afterall, my main motivation to go for DnD this year is to take lots of photos with my frens and Well, it's the memories that matter, not so much of "How i look on the dae..."

Neither am i fighting for Prom King/Queen, so it really does not matter! Just go and have fun for the nite and it's always better than MIA.

One thing not to be missed is to take photos with my Classmates (-_-)

Introducing the Prom King for the event: He is from the class next to mine...

Glad that i noe this year's Prom King personally (as usual, last year's King oso my fren) and Haha, those that i voted always make it to the TOP (*_*) Let's see whether he will make it to be the next King next year!?!

It was a wonderful dinner (no dance though due to lack of time and programme stretching all the way into midnite!!!) Can you imagine that at 12plus, they were still choosing Pageant :P There isn't any official Post-prom this year :( but almost my whole class went out to have more fun till almost dawn!!!

DnD 2008 @ Mariott Hotel will remain as Awesome as the Professional-shoot photo that my class took tgt (^_^) and for the entire cohort, till we meet again...

4 Dec
My cousin's BBQ party @ Coasta Sands Pasir Ris resort. (Ops, i didn't take any photo :p)

5-7 Dec

YES! Chalet @ Coasta Sands Pasir Ris--Double storey apartment X2--to celebrate the success of Yes!08 and bond with the new Yes!09 team =)

Haha, everyone was so engaged with activities like Poker cards, Majong, Night cycling, midnite Movie, Ultimate Fisbee challenge and Canadian Pizza Feast (myself included) so much so that we didn't have time to take much photos :p

Well, we only managed to took 2 similar photos at 4+am after 1st nite's night cycling + Nasi Lemak supper @ Changi Village market + exploration of Old Changi Hospital (still can't believe the whole group of us, plus 4 Malay 'guides' and 6 Maris Stella guys, went in to explore every single floors, rooms and corner LOL) Hong Chang came on the 1st day while David Tay came on BOTH days of our chalet and YES! the whole team had lots of fun together @ Downtown :D

If only, i can spend everyday so relaxing at this wonderful chalet tgt with them all :X
